it worked!

the trash can liner proved to be the right stuff for a no stick experience, tho it will be taped & stretched next time for a smoother, more level no stick experience. and i think i got carried away with paint & ink (shock!) b/c this could be a bit of a challenge to see an image on. tho if it's bold enough it would work.


here's a close up so you can see the fabric. the white bits behind the fabric are actually clear, as you'll see in the next photo. this is the scanner lid showing through.

the possibilities are endless!


 but.... i have to hold that thought, b/c we are off to farm aid tomorrow. we really wanted to see john mellencamp- his new music is killer, if you haven't checked it out- and it just seemed logical. i might be able to see neil young put on a good show too, which would be nice. then there's willie, jason mraz, norah jones, kenny chesney & some great yet to be discovered talent. woo hoo!

I very much like the fabric side!!! There is so much fun with the acrylic gel texture and then the woven...oh yeah! Possibilities galore!!!

Very cool experiment with the fabric. I'd love to see how that looks with wire mesh! You've got some nice pieces going.
