wow! a weekend!

a weekend at home with nothing planned !!!! woo hoo! an early morning walk with a friend, shopping, work on these pieces- which are getting closer (and don't worry about the dragonfly barb, she's staying).

i love being able to look at my art from the remove given by the blog. it gives me distance that's helpful when problem solving. in the case of these pieces, i like them lots better- which is a nice thing to have happen.

then downtown ( on our bikes)

to watch the twilight criterium

didn't take the big camera, got some fun photos all the same.

Love the pieces you've created Marianne. I particularly love the textured heart in the middle. Very nice!

Marianne! How did you do that? They both look so finished now - I like what you did with the blue. Thank God the dragonfly is still there - sometimes I get attached and then the next time I see it - GONE! Your action biking shots are fabulous. Did you pan the camera to get that effect? That second to last shows movement in a beautiful way.

thanks all!

anne- the keys came from joann fabrics- flat on one side- handy dandy!

barb- i did pan with the little camera, which has the slowest shutter in the world (you may remember?), just playing around & was pleased with the results. as for the dragonfly, when i read this:
"Dragonflies can also be a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity." it wasn't going anywhere!
