i'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?

i suck. after owing zella a dog portrait for over a year, and 2 photo shoots i don't have any decent shots to paint from. what a loser! i had to send her an email telling her that if she wanted a cutie close up nose full face shot of her babies i need to try to get photos yet again.

these are the photoshop sketches i was able to put together, but neither is doing much for me.

i don't have one photo of them looking at the camera that's in focus. ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! use your camera much?

so i am giving up and crawling into bed and hoping to get a good night's sleep and to have tomorrow be a better day. it was a monday through & through, this just the last in a line of discoveries (how's paying for web hosting at $50 per year and not ever using it? the good thing is that i do have a very reasonable bid on a site, so at least we're all ready to go!). or struggling to complete just the tiniest task at the day job. who knows why? oh- because it's february, the longest month!

my normally sunny demeanor will certainly resurface tomorrow, but for now- wah!

i did order some art markers, colored pencils and paper from blick today. i have some ideas for the goddesses and talked to julie, who does amazing things with colored pencil about what paper she uses. also saw a nice piece done with art marker at the gallery yesterday, so i think i can work with the 2 to come up with something. a small ray of sunshine. it doesn't involve photography, i should be ok. :)

My sunny demeanor has completely tanked, despite my blog post today. Ready to throttle DH and also SORE from trying to do too much work. You'd think I'd learn. Ha.
And photos? Tried to get some shots of fading roses.....kinda like the dogs.....not what I intended and could not even get them FOCUSED!
Maybe it IS a February thing. :)

Both the pups seem to be smiling in the second photo!

I actually think the top photo has potential. I would switch the dogs and have the one laying down overlap a little with the one standing.
I had fun at the studio tonight, can't wait to see that blog.

barb & pam- the thing is that z loves the nose first thing that i did in the blue dog painting, so even tho i could make these work, it's not what she wants. but have camera, might get a shot in focus some day :) pam- i had a blast tonight too! love to hear what bill thinks abt brmc :)
