fitting it all in

been having fun playing with my new phone in between other pressing things (like the day job). music downloaded, ringtones set. nice b/c i was able to listen to pandora radio while i was working this evening.
here's where i was instead of at the studio...... but it's gotta be done.....and so nice to be working in the comfort of home...
halle patiently keeping me company. good thing i have the daybed in my office for the dogs! :)

here are some art supplies i picked up at the hardware store this weekend. steve was putting in doors this weekend and the shims looked like good art supplies- making texture & paint patterns, so i had to pick some up for future use.

i also put together the third plexi/ masonite piece. here you can see the bolt with the first nut that holds the plexi up off the wood....

here before putting it all together.

and the final piece- not a great shot, will do better tomorrow, but you get the basic idea. if you want to see the whole process with a different piece, click here.

hopefully time to do more art tomorrow, this round of planning should be about done.
still have to write that pesky artist statement too.....
