had a beautiful hike with a friend this weekend, thought i'd share some photos.

i love tree against the sky shots. i am already working this into mixed media pieces in my brain... but i like as is, too, especially the colors.

lingering wildflower
cows on the open range, lava rock, big blue sky

another tree/sky with the added rock formation bonus.

husband has identified these as chukkar. we were walking up the hill & saw them sunning on the rocks above us. i actually managed to get the camera in position to shoot as they flew off- and move with them to keep the birds in focus! love it when things come together!

i had planned to get some painting done today, but the best laid plans..... 5 bags of yard waste, cushions & other weather sensitive stuff in the garage, visit with my stepson, photo editing....looks like tomorrow- oh, maybe not, the broncos are on.... there's always studio tuesday! good thing i have photos to share!

Beautiful pics---everything seems so expansive there! I love the photo of the tree between the rocks---that is just classic!
I have a feeling it may be Studio Tuesday here too.... <:(

Breathtaking shots! I love seeing the different terrains from all over the country. Was in Idaho once and really enjoyed the scenery as well. You have a great eye kiddo!
