clean house

well, contrary to my best hopes, all that was done today was house cleaning..... sigh.... but the house is CLEAN! (well.... 2 rooms to go). we have a new vacuum cleaner that seems up to pet hair (maybe i will use it once in a while- the old one was such a battle i never used it! i'm sure that's why)

and the halloween decorations are out and up- yay! my favorite holiday of all.....

my favorite- have always loved vampires- dracula, lost boys, near dark, every single anne rice vampire book (was the queen of the damned one year, tho no one got it but me :)), you suck, salen's lot, probably a few more. haven't read twilight tho. kind of scared to- the anne rice books are just so good.....

anyway- at least decorating felt a bit creative! it may be a while before i have much besides photos here- headed into a busy week- finish cleaning tomorrow night, boss in town & business dinner tuesday, friend in wednesday, vacation day to visit with her thursday, off to the oregon coast friday..... it will all be big fun, and there will be photos.... and maybe i will receive inspiration for finishing a few pieces while i'm away from them. happens sometimes....
i did get some more plexi at lowe's today- definitely planning on working a few more of those-
now, a hot tub & a glass of red wine to get ready for a busy day tomorrow....

Those bats are super cute!

Believe it or not, I was in a writing group with Ann Rice when she was still writing "Interview with the Vampire."! (No, she hasn't always lived in New Orleans.)

I wish my house were even half clean (sigh).

XOXO

Ah, don't we just love Halloween! Sadly we don't celebrate it in Australia...
