january 20

what a day! a day of hope, of sunshine, of new beginnings. the work starts tomorrow, but for today it was enough to celebrate an opportunity to be a nation united. i really hope that we can lose some of the diviseness and nastiness and attack our problems instead of each other.

we even had sun this afternoon- woo hoo!

and craft warehouse was having a sale, so i picked up a few new stamps (that i WILL use some day, really) and some other stuff. 1/2 price clearance is good.

picked up some caulk that looked like it might be similar to elmer's at 1/2 the price. it worked ok. it was so cold in the studio that i need to try again at normal room temp. it was 38 when we got there & up to 45 when we gave up & left early. i think that nancy or i will stop by earlier in the day next time to start the heat.
anyway- mostly the caulk seemed to work pretty well. the raven is a gel transfer. both from apollo transparencies.

here's a bit of play with some of the clear stamps & the white ink- which i am really glad i bought. sort of liking the way this is headed, but it doesn't feel very serious.... which is ok- i just need something new to sell in march at first thursday...

look forward to the feeling of hope and positivity (good word!) continuing for a while......
