all over the place

this doesn't show up very well, but i did manage to run a piece of metal through the printer. the digital ground works well- i just need to figure out why it didn't print the size i thought it would, otherwise it's fun. had thought about painting on this one, so it's probably ok that the size is off- will try to take a photo tomorrow.

the bad news is that the 6x6 pieces are too small to put through the printer, unless i can fix them to something 8x10 and get the printing in the right place. otherwise we're back to transfers. which is ok. room to play.

i have the market saturday, and it is supposed to be pouring rain all day. my tent is not especially waterproof. guess i'll take canvasses & hope for the best. which includes hoping i don't get sicker from sitting in the damp. but not showing is not an option. some days are that way.... i'll get some reading done, i guess. i was hoping to sell some christmas cards. i should try some card shops next week, but probably too late for this year...

artistsnetwork.com is having a themed competition around water, so i entered this today. the painting is on an 8x8 canvas & done in alkyd. a friend of mine bought it. i was so excited that i actually painted something that looked like water, and love the movement.

we found a spot to do the december gypsy. whew. you'd think with the economy the way it is & all of the empty buildings downtown it would have been easy, but au contraire. this just dropped in on us, though- an older building downtown with a variety of stores wanted an art show in the lobby for first thursday. maybe i'll actually have some new work by then......

bedtime- maybe i'll be able to focus tomorrow.....

I love the water! Beautiful. The others are lovely as well -- I assume they are for cards?
